Exercise Classes

Gosling Sports offers more than 50 exercise classes a week including Pilates, dance, spinning, circuits, aerobics and more. All classes are available to pre-book or attend on a drop-in basis and are available to both members non-members.

Our lifestyle membership includes the cost of unlimited exercise classes, members go free. Non-members are welcome to join us for a single session on a pay as you go basis.

 

Classes and Times

3 in 1 Workout

A high Impact Aerobic workout with the use of equipment consisting of warm up/ aerobic moves with the use of a step/ and muscular strength and conditioning exercises with the use of weights to intensify the impact.


3 in 1 Workout (50+)

A medium intensity Aerobic workout with the use of equipment consisting of warm up/ aerobic moves with the use of a step/ and muscular strength and conditioning exercises with the use of weights.


Aerobics

High Impact cardiovascular workout, consisting of warm up various high Impact moves/routines/ body conditioning and cool down. All over body workout for cardiovascular and musclar strength.


Fitball fitness

Medium to Low intensity exercises set in a structured program focusing on muscular strength and conditioning with the use of a fitball. Fantastic for developing balance and agility.


Phenomenal Abdominals

It does exactly what it says…A Phenomenal abdominal workout run by phenomenal instructors.


Body Blitz

A highly intensive all body workout, high Impact combination of moves in a structured program along with conditioning exercises for great cardiovascular fitness and Strength.


Boxercise & Boxing

A cardio based boxing workout that will give you the skills whilst toning the whole body.


Circuit class

Is a physical conditioning or resistance training workout using a series of different stations. The time is set between each exercises/stations is short, often with rapid movement to the next exercise.


Dance Fusion

A high impact class with a combination of varied dance moves including Salsa/Hip hop/ Bollywood/ Disco/ Reggetion/ Street/ Jive. Set to routines for all abilities, for an amazing all over body workout through the fun of dance.

 
Dynamic Yoga

An intense yoga based workout in an express format to compliment 'yoga for all'. For all levels and abilities

 
Express Pump

Based on the techniques of Body Building, Express Pump offers an intense toning and conditioning workout in a structured format, working each muscle group in turn. If you have a busy lifestyle, Express Pump can offer a complete and full body workout within a 45 minute class.


Fight Klub

A fantastic newly developed program consisting of a combination of intense boxing techniques and Martial Arts. A complete all over body workout set to music developing complete physical fitness and agility.

 

Fit steps:

A brand New programme devised by Ian Waite and Natalie Lowe from the well known and loved 'Strictly come Dancing'. A Fun and Fantastic Cardio Vascular workout, through medium to high intensity Dance moves which include the Cha Cha Cha / Tango / Rumba / Jive / Waltz / Passo Doble / Quick step / Charleston and many more. A great way to tone and condition your body without even realising it!! Suitable for all ages and abilities.


Legs, Bums & Tums

Medium Intensity aerobic moves set into a structured program to increase intensity followed by muscular strength and endurance exercises to help strengthen and tone the body for an all over body workout.


Pump it up

A structured all over body workout inspired by the use of body building techniques and using equipment to focus on specific muscle groups. Exercises are structured to develop fantastic muscular strength and enhance toning.


Pure Pilates

Pilates based exercises focusing on core stability, endurance and strength. Fantastic for deep tissue strength and toning.


Spin Thin

A vigorous cardiovascular workout set on the bike, aerobic exercises are set with the use of visualisation to enhance the intensity. Excellent for muscular strength and endurance.


'Step', 'Step it Up' and 'Step It Up Advance'

An excellent High impact cardiovascular workout with the use of structured moves and routines set around a step. This is simplified for beginners step and intensified for Step it up and Step advance. Great for developing physical fitness and muscular strength.


Tone Zone

'This class may vary due to individual instructor workouts. Medium to high intensity workout. Combination of aerobic set exercises and routines set in a structured program. Weights and other equipment may also be used, along with body conditioning exercises for strength and toning.


Yoga for All & Freestyle Yoga

This class may vary due to individual instructor workouts. A form of low to medium intensity exercise which incorporates not only the physical but the mental and emotional well-being of a person. Structured poses, focusing on breathing techniques, strength and flexibility.


Young at Heart (50+)

Medium to low intensity cardiovascular workout, consisting of warm up various of moves/routines/ body conditioning and cool down. All over body workout for cardiovascular and muscular strength.


Zumba

A fantastic all over body workout through dance moves set to various songs from all kinds of ethnic backgrounds, a fun and diverse form of exercise within a FUN environment. Suitable for all abilities.


Zumba Experience

A full body cardiovascular workout through fun and highly active dance based routines.
