I am passionate about Community Sports facilities, I have served as a trustee at Gosling Sports Park for the past 4 years and am also the Treasurer of a local community based rugby club. I was lucky enough to have played rugby at quite a high level for a number of years and feel an obligation to 'put something back' in terms of ensuring community sports facilities are maintained for all.
In addition as a partner of 20 years standing in a mid tier accountancy practice I feel I can continue to use my experience to help to assist the Board and the Executive officers to ensure the financial stability of the facility.
Relevant Skills: Chartered Accountant and Business Development Principal on the management board at Hillier Hopkins LLP.

I believe passionately that everyone should have the opportunity to enjoy the very best health and wellbeing. Gosling Sports Park is vital to our community in helping people of all ages, interests and abilities to achieve this through the provision of excellent sports, fitness and leisure facilities. I have many years of organisation change and customer focused service transformation experience gained in the Health, Local Government and Commercial sectors. I believe my strategic planning and change management skills, leadership experience, energy and tenacity would be a useful addition to the Board and provide constructive challenge to the Leadership team to achieve the very best outcomes for the Organisation.

I have been a member of Gosling Sports Park for more years that I want to remember and strongly believe that the Park is an asset to the County and its community. Being a long standing member, I want to become involved in the governance of the Park. I worked for a large, complex public sector organisation for eleven years and I think that the skills I gained there (including budget management, quality assurance, policy and strategy review, learning and development, project management and leadership) will enable me to do that.
