Gosling Tennis Academy’s elite players rose to all new levels last weekend after a year of hard work and travelling the globe competing. As the tennis season comes an end, Gosling players; Dan Cox, Ed Corrie and Dave Rice are at career highs of 4th, 5th and 6th in Great Britain respectively based on ATP points won this year.
Staff and guests celebrated the 5th birthday of The Retreat spa at Gosling Sports Park on Tuesday 1 October with a VIP pamper party for invited guests.
In 2008, the Park's former bowls hall was transformed into a relaxing spa which celebrates its 5th anniversary this year (2013). A VIP event was held for invited guests from businesses and organisations in where they were treated to mini treatments including mini facials, massages, hand and arm rejuvenation treatment., revitalising leg and foot massages, and quick fix manicures with polish. There were also prizes to be won throughout the evening.
Gosling Tennis star Dan Cox has got his second pro men's singles title in as many weeks, and third pro title in just five weeks.
In the Aegon GB ProSeries at Nottingham Tennis Centre at the weekend, Dan won the first set 6-4, before his opponent 21 year old Ashley Hewitt, 21, responded by winning the second set 6-3. Cox then took a decisive 3-0 lead, before claiming victory 6-4 3-6 6-1.
